In January we published the 4th annual flagship Analytical Data Infrastructure Market Study as well as the 7th edition of our Location Intelligence thematic report.
The analyst team is working on the Data Preparation Market Study, to be published at the end of February.
In the past month we issued two new Research Insights: The Increasing Importance of Data Storytelling, and IT Professionals Should Consider All Vendor Options When Sourcing EPM Software. The next topics to be covered in the Research Insights series will be around IT Analytics and the Hyper-Decisive Maturity Model. New Year Data Collection
As you are aware, were in the midst of New Year Data Collection. This is the more comprehensive of our two annual data collection programs, as it forms the basis of all our 2Q and 3Q research, including the Flagship Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management Market Studies, as well as several related thematic reports such as Cloud BI, Self-Service BI, Data Catalog, Data Science + Machine Learning, and our SME focused titles. If you have not started your vendor survey or, if you need to get back into your survey in progress, please let us know.
Upon completion of your vendor survey, Michelle will send your unique link to the end user survey for you to share with your customers. Any user, in all size organizations, any function, all geographies, may participate. We know that sometimes these customer outreach campaigns can take time to gain traction, so we encourage you to begin your outreach as soon as possible. As the process unfolds, I will provide a weekly update of your responses.
Real BI Conference
The Real BI 2020 event was launched this month. We added another speaker, Emilio Isom, senior director of analytics at Cox Automotive. Emilio will share his experience employing the Hyper-Decisive™ Maturity Model within the sales analytics team, covering the success and challenges they faced as well as suggestions for other organizations looking to implement the model. It’s that time of year again! Several members of the Dresner Team will be at the Gartner Data and Analytics Conference in Grapevine, Texas, March 22-26.
